Recasted Celebrities

Aside from D.L. Hughley as the voice of the Gadgetmobile, the main characters were recast: French Stewart replaced Matthew Broderick as Inspector Gadget, Caitlin Wachs replaced the late Michelle Trachtenberg as Penny, Tony Martin took Rupert Everett's place as Dr. Claw, Mark Mitchell took the late Dabney Coleman's role as Chief Quimby, and Sigrid Thornton took over Cheri Oteri's role as Mayor Wilson.

Anger (Inside Out)

Anger is one of the three tritagonists (alongside Fear and Disgust) of the Disney, Pixar's Inside Out animated film franchise series. He is a red angry emotion and one of the original five emotions inside the mind of Riley Andersen. Anger is the fifth male emotion to appear in the first film. He is voiced by Lewis Black. Anger is based on a firebrick.

Movie Trivia

In Inspector Gadget 2, the film departs slightly from the first one: Additionally, Gadget and Claw are never referred to as "John Brown" and "Sanford Scolex", their respective civilian names from the first film, though Claw's communicator clearly is labeled as "Scolex Industries", indicating that his name is still Sanford Scolex. Kramer and Sykes (Claw's previous henchmen) were replaced by Brick and McKibble. Also, Brenda is replaced by G2. None of the actors from the 1999 film reprised their roles, except for D.L. Hughley, who returned as the voice of the Gadgetmobile. Unlike the first film, Inspector Gadget 2 is considered a more faithful adaptation of the original animated series. The characters' personalities were altered to be more in line with their cartoon counterparts and Dr. Claw's face is never shown.

Film Errors and Film Other Mistakes.

As John Brown is catching up to Scolex's limousine at the beginning of the film, if you pause the video, you can see that it's Matthew Broderick's acting double (name unknown) driving the Chevette vehicle, not Broderick himself.

IMDb Mistakes

When Inspector Gadget is fighting with RoboGadget on the top of the bridge, for a second or two; you can clearly see Matthew Broderick's stunt double's face. This happens right before Broderick calls for "time" out.

Sean Flem (Jordan Dunn)

Sean Flem is a British-Canadian actor, rapper, and musician. He portrayed Jordan Dunn in the Donard School franchise films. Flem is of Afghan and Pakistani ancestry on his mother's side. Sean Flem's voice is similar to those of Shawn Mendes, Charlie Puth, French Stewart, Troye Sivan, Jason Derulo, Kendrick Lamar, Calum Scott, Lil Nas X, Justin Bieber, Will Young, Van Halen lead singer David Lee Roth, Devlin, Nick Jonas, Luke Hemmings, and Chris Pine. His character looks almost identical to Mia Goth, Channing Tatum, Aaron Stanford, Jay Sean, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Anya Taylor-Joy, Tom Holland, Antonio Banderas, and Will Ferrell.
