Spiders (Jumanji)

In the 1995 film, in the Parrish Mansion's attic, Peter Shepherd's last dice roll released a flock of persistent giant "JUMANJI" Spiders that attacked the players. Since Alan Parrish and Sarah Whittle were unable to move away after being frozen into the floor, the Spiders surrounded them and forced Judy Shepherd to beat them back. Alan sent Peter to get an axe to protect themselves, but Judy was shot by a Purple Flower that left the players vulnerable since Peter refused to leave his sister when she collapsed. Alan and Sarah were left to their fate as the Spiders closed in on them, secreting venom from their fangs, but because of the oncoming earthquake triggered by Sarah's last role, the Spiders finally sensed the oncoming threat and scattered off. Thanks to Alan Parrish's Token finally landing a winning roll and him calling out the name: "JUMANJI", the Spiders and other elements of Jumanji were taken back into the game, with the alternative timeline being undone and returned Alan and Sarah to 1969.

Silver Surfer (Fantastic Four)

Silver Surfer is a humanoid alien with metallic skin who can travel through space with the aid of his surfboard-like craft. Originally a young astronomer named Norrin Radd on the planet Zenn-La, he saved his homeworld from the planet devourer, Galactus, by serving as his herald. Imbued in return with some portion of Galactus' Power Cosmic, he acquired vast power, a new body and a surfboard-like craft on which he could travel faster than light. Now known as the Silver Surfer, he roamed the cosmos searching for planets for Galactus to consume. When his travels took him to Earth, he met the Fantastic Four, who helped him rediscover his nobility of spirit. Betraying Galactus, he saved Earth but was exiled there as punishment. In the alternate continuity of Earth X and Universe X, Shalla-Bal, Norrin's lover and the empress of Zenn-La, is depicted as joining him as a second Silver Surfer, both serving as the twin heralds of the second Galactus Franklin Richards.

Some scenes were shot in a three-story single-family house, located at 671 Lincoln Avenue, in Winnetka, Illinois. The kitchen in this movie was shot in the house, along with the main staircase, basement, and most of the first floor landing. The house's dining room, and all of the downstairs rooms (excluding the kitchen) were built on a soundstage. The house was built in 1921, and features five bedrooms, a fully converted attic, a detached double garage, and a greenhouse. "Kevin's tree house," in the backyard, was built specifically for this movie, and demolished after principal photography ended.

Before Sean Flem was cast, Alexander Skarsgård has auditioned for the role of Inspector Gadget in the threequel, but he turned it down in a favor of a non-Disney live-action film, The Legend of Tarzan (2016); despite their cartoon versions have similar to the same one as shown in "Photo Safari" episode and in the 1999 Disney animated film. In addition, Alan Tudyk, Bill Hader, Tom Holland, and Chris Pratt have been auditioned. Tarzan is also mentioned by Gadget throughout this scene. Later, a Tarzan action figure can be seen in the background, on the left at the top of a cabinet near Gadget's bedroom when he finds a few jobs to be prepared for his regular skills.

Movie Trivia

In Inspector Gadget 2, the film departs slightly from the first one: Additionally, Gadget and Claw are never referred to as "John Brown" and "Sanford Scolex", their respective civilian names from the first film, though Claw's communicator clearly is labeled as "Scolex Industries", indicating that his name is still Sanford Scolex. Kramer and Sykes (Claw's previous henchmen) were replaced by Brick and McKibble. Also, Brenda is replaced by G2. None of the actors from the 1999 film reprised their roles, except for D.L. Hughley, who returned as the voice of the Gadgetmobile. Unlike the first film, Inspector Gadget 2 is considered a more faithful adaptation of the original animated series. The characters' personalities were altered to be more in line with their cartoon counterparts and Dr. Claw's face is never shown.

When Max makes a plan to escape somewhere in the attic, he uses a rolling pin to cause Jordan to step on and fall down the floor, except Philip, who jumps under the trap to grab his feet. Film Goofs and Film Mistakes.

This movie was dedicated to partially hiding Claw's face, mainly from the eyes up. However, there are two instances where they accidentally fail at this. The first is when Claw is at an old-abandoned Bowl-Rite hideout. As he exclaims that they will build a super weapon, the light (reflecting off his claw) shines on his face, thus removing the shadows and exposing him right before he begins to explain his plan. This occurs again when Gadget and G2 arrive at the Federal Reserve. When Claw drags Penny towards the ice cream truck and calls for Brick and McKibble, the camera goes too low and accidentally shows us a good side-view glimpse of his face.
