Inspector Gadget 3 Returns, better known as "Inspector Gadget 3" and formerly "IG3R", is a 2019 live-action superhero, sci-fi comedy film directed by Shawn Levy, based on the 1980 animated television series of the same name created by DiC Entertainment and released theatrically by Walt Disney Pictures on April 5, 2019. It is the sequel to Inspector Gadget (1999) and Inspector Gadget 2 (2003), as well as the third and final installment of the Inspector Gadget trilogy series. Principal photography began in May 2018, the film was shot in Vancouver, British Columbia and Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
